How fees work in California

You sign a written contract that states our fee before we start any work.

California requires your contract to state our fee as a percentage, and what that percentage is taken from.

You can cancel within 3 business days after signing and receiving your copy, or 5 calendar days for a disaster claim.

We go over the fee with you before you sign, and you get a copy of the signed contract.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us what happened

Fill out the form or call. Our team reviews your information and calls you back within one business day.

  2. 2

    We document everything

We inspect the damage, take detailed photos, review your whole policy and write a full estimate of what it costs to repair.

  3. 3

    We handle the insurance company

We present the claim, answer the carrier, schedule inspections and negotiate, and keep you updated along the way.

After a declared disaster, California limits when a public adjuster may contact you first. You can always contact us, at any time.

California questions

My home survived the fire but smells of smoke. Is that covered?

Smoke and ash damage is often part of a fire claim. We document it room by room so it is not left out.

What does it cost?

A percentage of what the insurance company pays, written in your contract before we start.

Can I keep working with my contractor?

Yes. We work alongside your roofer, restoration company or contractor. They handle the repairs; we handle the insurance claim.
